I did not attend the burial rites of Ruby Rose because I attended the Legion of Mary meeting this morning but I always prayed for her soul and comfort to all Barrameda family.
I gave the two Blessed Sacrament pins to Sisters Sciony and Rochelle and wore it last night until the burial of Ruby Rose. I bought it at the Sta. Cruz Parish Bookstore and blessed by a Sacramentino Priest during the Great Feast of Corpus Christi last Sunday.
Today, I am briefly discussing the important spiritual matters about hope in this world. This is my 30th writing series in blog dedicated to the Barrameda family. Well some said ninety-nine (99) percent that our country is hopeless due to injustice. You’re wrong. Don’t listen to the naysayers and pessimists. We have one (1) percent hope in this world. The Lord spares 1% for divine justice. The number word “one” belongs to God and it is written according to St. Matthew 22:37:
“Jesus said unto him, ‘Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.’ “
The first and great commandment, according to our Lord Jesus Christ, must love the Lord God with all your heart, soul, and mind. I always call God first during my prayer.
I am sending message to the Barrameda family that they must not lose hope. You became disappointed yesterday that the motion was denied to grant the temporary custody of the two children of Ruby Rose by the judge of Las Pinas Regional Trial Court (RTC). One day, I believe that the ruling decision of the judge will be reversed by any justices either Court of Appeals or Supreme Court that the two daughters of Ruby Rose will come back to their true family soon with God’s help through the intercession of the Holy Spirit. I believe that Ruby Rose will give justice and the suspects including the brains must put them behind the cold iron bars. We have hope in times of tribulations according to the letter of Paul in Romans 5:3-4:
“And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:…”
Do you believe the words of St. Paul? You must have patience and hope in times of tribulations. But what kind of hope in times of tribulations? My answer is prayer. It is written in Philippians 4:6:
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
The verse above is clear. By prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. I believe that the Lord will grant your prayers to reverse injustices committed by the erring and corrupt judges in this nation. You must believe in 1% hope because it has reserved for the Lord and He will grant your prayers. Just continue praying in private. The power of prayer beats the storms of your life. That is the secret weapon of one percent hope!
